There are the estate’s three grape-growing centres (Felettis, Camino and Spilimbergo), where the vine is cultivated with a low environmental impact according to the EEC 2078 regulations requiring drastic limits in the use of fertilizers and pesticides.
There is the Flumignano wine-making plant, where all the estate’s grapes are delivered in September and October and undergo soft pressing and the vinification process at automatically controlled temperatures, in the absence of sulphur dioxide.

The cellar and offices are adjacent, located on the Dandolo plain in the picturesque municipality of Maniago. The soils, poor and limey, are treated with care and respect, through careful selection of genetic material that adapts perfectly to the properties of this soil and to the wine-making objectives pursued by the Rapais Vineyards. The cultivated surface of 36 hectares are divided into 11,5 hectares of red vines and 24,5 hectares of white vines. A large number of plants have been planted per hectare (6,250), in order to limit the unit production per vine and thus maintain a high standard of quality. The wine production started in 2006, after the construction of the cellar which is provided with the most updated oenological equipment. |

The feuds in Romans are constituted by 50 hectares of vineyards, selected plants, 4000 stocks per hectare, wood fencing, drop irrigation on the whole vineyard, unilateral goyut cultivation and total grassy surface. The soil has a stratum of about 50 cm and the mass is compact for the presence of clay eroded from the river Isonzo. It is n highly fruitful soil that needs irrigation during the summer because it lies on a gravely substratum that is typical of the area. |

Villa Martina takes its name from the youngest of the four doughters the Sfiligoi family, Martina. The winery is located in Brazzano di Cormòns, between Plessiva woods and Ponte di Trussio, one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in the Friuli Orientale. It can be considered a women’s winery even if their father Mario is always at its head. Located in the hills, it has a vineyard area of about 11 hectares. It is run according to a precise list of tasks: Mario Sfiligoi sees to the vineyard, Michela Sfiligoi is the commercial Manager and Patrizia, being in charge of the production, deals with the technical office. In this suggestive place in the heart of the Collio you can taste wine immersed in a green environment. |
